Booklovers and ship enthusiasts should take note of what just docked at Port Klang recently. Yes, MV Logos Hope has arrived at the cruise centre at Port Klang. Visitors can browse onboard the ship till 23rd October, when the ship leaves for Kuching and from there, Kota Kinabalu.
The ship offers over 5,000 titles and carries up to half a million books, which are supplied by donors in United Kingdom and United States, while several publishers have also donated their books. The fair is open from 10 am to 10 pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays, and 3 pm to 10 pm on Sundays. The ship is closed on Mondays. A nominal fee of RM 1 is charged for each adult, and free for children under 12 who are accompanied by an adult.
There is even a volunteer program for the ship, and at present five Malaysians are onboard the Logos Hope, including a doctor.
